Vivian M. Linderman,
founder and principal of Blue Lotus Consulting, is
a strategic thinker, fundraiser and organizational
development specialist. Vivian has worked professionally
in the nonprofit arena in the areas of administration,
fundraising and special event planning and coordination.
She also has held several nonprofit administrative
level positions and has served on several nonprofit
boards of directors.
Vivian is currently working
on a master’s degree in library and information science
and will graduate in August 2010. The research skills acquired
and education in libraries and the issues affecting them
adds another facet to Blue Lotus Consulting services. Vivian also
holds a master’s degree in public administration
with an emphasis in health care administration from
California State University, Long Beach and a bachelor’s
degree in social ecology with an emphasis in criminal
justice from the University of California at Irvine.
In addition, Vivian continues to hone her administrative
and consulting skills through advanced education
in nonprofit management and fundraising strategies.
She is trained
in implementing the Raising
More Money approach to developing a
sustainable funding base of individual donors and
the Peter F.
Drucker Foundation Self-Assessment Tool for Nonprofit
Organizations. Vivian is one of only
60 consultants nationwide qualified to facilitate
and implement nonprofit mergers and partnerships
through the Strategic
Solutions/LaPiana Associates model. She is one
of two in-state consultants trained to present Grant Writing: Developing and Maintaining Prevention Programs through the Community
Prevention Initiative.
